Allergy and Asthma Physicians Calgary is looking for an energetic full time FRCPC certified or eligible allergist to join me (Dr. Hani Hadi) with the potential of eventually becoming a full partner if desired.

We are located across from the major academic hospital (Foothills Hospital) in a modern, chartless clinic, using cutting edge EMR and computer systems. I am proud to practice comprehensive evidence-based allergy in beautiful Calgary. In less than a year, this clinic has become a highly reputable clinic (
search online reviews). With an adult waitlist approaching 1 year I am looking to have an adult allergist join me immediately. I anticipate needing another allergist in 1-2 years. The goal is for this clinic to have at least four allergists.

You would join an energetic, highly dedicated team of one board-certified allergist and two nurses. This clinic practices evidence-based allergy across the spectrum, serving pediatric patients with no lower age cut-off and all adults. In addition to the routine allergic evaluation that most clinics perform, we do oral challenges, peanut desensitization, drug challenges, level II spirometry and comprehensive contact patch testing.

This clinic does not cut corners and I am seeking a colleague with the same outlook: a commitment to put patient care first and practice - and continue to modify - based on the latest research and evidence. If you think this is appealing to you, I want to hear from you!

Alberta currently has one of the most generous reimbursement rates for allergists in Canada. The physician publication The Medical Post this year rated Alberta as one of the best places to practice medicine. Alberta is a business friendly and a welcoming place for a new physician to start up practice.

Alberta – and in particular Calgary – is a wonderful place to live. Calgary was ranked as the
4th most liveable city in the world by the The Economist Intelligence Unit.

It is an amazing city, with mountains, world-class hikes and fantastic ski slopes a stone’s throw away. It also has the most sunshine of any major city in Canada (333 days of sun in 2018), the
fifth most bikeable Canadian city and one of the most highly educated and youngest demographics of any major city in Canada, with the average Calgarian 36 years of age.

Home prices here are far lower than Vancouver or Toronto and comparable to Guelph - in 2018 Calgary ranked 15th among cities in Canada (The average single home in Vancouver is $1.05 million, Toronto $740,000 and Calgary $430,000).

So, high salaries, affordable homes, one of the lowest tax rates - no PST - and beautiful mountains, should make this an easy decision! Take it from me: as someone who is originally from Toronto and worked and lived in Vancouver, this is the perfect city to work and raise a family.
